This is one of the few early drawings I have of Tetsuko that is actually dated: Sept. 9, 1991. For a long time, I believed that this was probably one of the first depictions of the character, trying to get down on paper the idea of a manga/anime-style muscle-girl. (If anything, my style still shows to this day that I have a lot to learn about the Japanese style of cartooning!) But then I discovered these drawings which are actually labeled "1st designs", so this is a later drawing.
