COMMENTARY: Ooh, color! This, I believe, was a suggestion from a reader - I'm sorry, I don't remember who - that the strip would be rendered in black and white or gray tones, except for "significant moments" which would then draw that much more attention by being presented chromatically. And what's more significant than our first "official" look at Deena's transformation into the mighty Damsel Dynamo? (The strip will return to its more monochromatic manner in a couple of installments... until the next big moment!) |
