This was inspired by an illustration by Takahashi Rumiko of my favorite anime character, Lum from Urusei Yatsura. But while I was coloring this pic, I got the idea: "why not have the reason why the wind is so fierce is because of a rapidly-developing thunderstorm?" So this is one of my few attempts at a dramatic color/lighting scheme.
