I never know what the inspiration for an illustration will be, sometimes. Although I am familiar with the "Street Fighter" series of video games and their attendant merchandising (figurines, comics, etc.) I'm not a gamer. If I was, though, Cammy would probably be one of my favorite characters.

Most of the drawings I've seen of Cammy portray her with a lithe, muscular physique that still doesn't skimp on the sex appeal. (Hey, muscularity is part of the sex appeal, at least to me!) But it wasn't until I came across this wallpaper that the idea of drawing Tetsuko as Cammy struck me. There was just something about this pose that said, "wouldn't Tetsuko look great in this pose and costume?"

And as for why Tetsuko would dress as Cammy? Well, the date on the file is October 24, 2006... so, as her speech balloon signifies, it's an idea for a Hallowe'en costume.

I'm proud of the waist-and-hips area on this pic; this is what I'm striving to achieve in subsequent drawings: that slim waist with defined abs swelling out to wide, voluptuous hips and thighs.
