At first, I hadn't intended to reveal much (if anything) about Charlotte's personal life. Like El Santo, the famous Mexican wrestler who starred in a series of popular movies in which he played a superhero-like character, she'd simply show up where and when she's needed, sometimes being summoned by some sort of sophisticated communication device(s) by "the authorities", then "ride off into the sunset" when her task is done and the villain defeated.

But a reader at my DeviantArt site inquired as to her "civilian" life, and suggested that she be a quiet and demure type, like a librarian. And that, combined with the fact that my wife wears this costume as part of her job as silhouette artist at Walt Disney World triggered something in my fevered little brain.

And thus was born the persona of "Charlotte Fuller", a shy, modest, demure young lady who affects 1890s fashions and attitudes, behind which Charlotte the superheroine can "hide in plain sight".
